"Keep your head on straight"

Films: Night School (1981)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Civilized area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: It's nothing to be ashamed of if you have a fondness for other cultures. But if your passions go towards the more violent bits, then chances are we're gonna have issues.

History: Eleanor Adjai was an exchange student attending the Wendell College at Boston, Massachusetts. She seemed to have a peculiar fascination with ancient tribal rituals involving decapitation. Somehow, this translated to a desire to lop off heads herself. Wearing extensive and concealing biker gear, she stalks the night, looking for victims to behead.

Notable Kills: It's the merry-go-round of head-losing doom!

Final Fate: In a fit of mad loyalty, Eleanor's boyfriend Vincent dons her helmet so that he can lead the authorities away. He succeeds, but not before dying. The case is dropped, and Eleanor lives on.

Powers/Abilities: Eleanor's favored weapon is a small kukri.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-It's one thing to have a night stalker on the loose. But now we have one hell-bent for leather and a major motivation to separate your noggin from your body. Best to avoid.

Trivia: -This is the second film to be almost entirely filmed in Boston, preceded by 1978's "The Brink's Job".

-Writer Ruth Avergon conceived this film's premise after reading up on the head-hunters of Papua New Guinea.

A bit insensitive, considering what goes down here.

Funny title for a movie with a killer donning a concealing helmet.

Silent as the night, even in broad light.
Missed by an inch.

You've got some 'splaining to do.
